Tropical Pineapple Smoothie

Total Time7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks Using frozen is non-negotiable for that thick, slushy texture
  • 1 large banana preferably frozen and sliced (Pro tip: freeze ripe bananas for maximum sweetness)
  • 1 cup coconut milk Use canned for creaminess or carton for a lighter option
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt Adds a protein punch and tangy creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, depending on your sweet tooth
  • A handful of ice cubes If your fruit isn't fully frozen
  • Optional boosters: A handful of spinach you won't taste it, promise, chia seeds, or a scoop of protein powder

Instructions

  • Grab your blender. Make sure it’s powerful enough to crush frozen fruit without having a meltdown.
  • Add the liquid first—the coconut milk. This helps everything blend smoothly and prevents your blender’s blades from getting stuck.
  • Next, add the Greek yogurt, frozen pineapple chunks, and frozen banana slices.
  • If you’re using any optional boosters like spinach or protein powder, toss them in now.
  • Secure the lid tightly. IMO, pineapple smoothie on the ceiling is not a good look. Start blending on low speed, then gradually increase to high.
  • Blend for 60-90 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  • If it’s too thick, add a splash more coconut milk. Too thin? Add a few more frozen pineapple chunks.
  • Pour immediately into a glass, add a cute little umbrella if you're feeling fancy, and consume.
  • No delay—this is a now-or-never situation.
